Target: Pickering Town Centre Food Truck Festival, Canadian Food Truck Festival, Durham Festival & Pickering Town Centre Farmer’s Market. Plus Pan Am Games Men’s Baseball (semi-finals & finals), Pan Am Games Women’s Baseball (semifinals & finals), Para Pan Am Games Bocce finals.
Tactic: As part of their booth presence at various summer events in 2015 in Durham Region, Pickering Town Centre promoted their giveaways using LED Video Trucks. This was supported with several Brand Ambassadors who engaged with the attendees at each event, having their photo taken in front of a vinyl banner positioned under one of the raised LED side screens. The pictures were then posted on Twitter and Facebook and each participant received a $10 voucher and a chance to win a $2,500 shopping spree.
On days when the Video Truck wasn’t at events, it travelled around the region advertising the mall in high traffic areas and large box stores within the shopping centre’s trading area. The truck also visited various Pan Am and Para Pan Games held in Ajax and Whitby.
