Medium: Digital Ad Truck
Objective: To promote various local businesses at a local street festival.
Target: The Tim Horton’s Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival, Port Credit
Tactic: The Digital Truck was featured in the parade then after positioned right in the festival while Lakeshore Road was closed to traffic. One side of the screen was raised hydraulically 17 feet above the crowds and featured the organizer’s commercial, along with various advertisers’ commercials (including audio).
The promotion was enjoyed by about 70,000 people over 3 days in early September.
