20th Century Fox Awards Sky Campaign to Wild on Wings
Toronto, ON June 24, 2005

Wild on Wings has been chosen to provide the latest in outdoor advertising to promote the release of the summer’s motion picture action hit “The Fantastic Four”. Mindshare Canada, representing 20th Century Fox has selected this exciting new medium to lead the summer movie campaign. From July 1st through the 4th, Wild on Wings’ full-colour, 8400 square foot skymurals will simultaneously paint the skies over Toronto and Vancouver.

“This is the newest and most exciting mode of advertising”, says Wild on Media President George Christidis, “Skymurals are the most dramatic colour advertising possible; these gigantic full colour banners are pulled behind Bell Jet Ranger Helicopters. The combination of the sheer dramatic size of the display and the thump of the helicopter blades, ensures all eyes will turn to the skies. The ability to dominate the skyline presents a potent media for companies seeking a statement with impact.”

Other clients eager to capitalize on the potential of Wild on Wings include Bell Canada and Global Television. Wild on Wings launches its first flight with the Bell Canada 10,000 square foot skymural in honour of their 125th anniversary. The campaign begins on June 25th, running through to Labour Day. Global Television is promoting their upcoming contest with skymurals to appear in both Toronto and Vancouver for four days in July.

This summer expect to see skymurals over every festival of importance.

Wild On Media set to fly
Toronto, ON (mediaincanada.com) June 16, 2005

Toronto-based OOH company Wild On Media is launching its first ever skymural this month. Beginning June 25 until Labour Day, the company will fly a 10,000 square foot mural towed by helicopters for Bell Canada's 125th anniversary above select high-traffic events such as the CNE, Molson Indy and the 2005 Pride Parade. The price tag? A cool $77,000. "The prices are determined by the number of hours and the size of the banner," says George Christidis, president. "The client gets the choice of flight hours and the price includes the production of these billboards in the sky." Wild On flies over Canada's major markets including Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. Prices start at $39,700 for a 2500 square foot ad at 18 hours of flight time for one market.

Wild On Media Gets Wilder
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) June 7, 2005

Wild On Media, the company that set the standard for outdoor advertising, is taking their attention-demanding capabilities to new heights, literally.

Originally known as Wild On Walls, a nod to their success with the first outdoor video billboards in Toronto, the newly-named Wild On Media announces a name change, new websites, and new capabilities including full-colour skymurals of up to 10,000 square feet.

Whether they know it or not, almost every city dweller or wide-eyed tourist has already seen Wild On Media in action. Their full-motion video billboards are located at some of Toronto’s most populated intersections. Their three-wheeled Vespa trucks complete with four rotating backlit panels and 450W sound system are hard not to notice as they pump sound and subject through downtown traffic. With this kind of eye-catching arsenal and an impressive client list that includes Warner Brothers, City TV and Alliance Atlantis’ Trailer Park Boys, it’s easy to see Wild On Media needed to re-brand and expand their mediums.

“We’ve set a standard to provide our clients with our first-to-market-power,” says Wild on Media President George Christidis. “To concentrate on those innovations we have restructured into four divisions.” Wild on Media represents the parent company. Wild on Walls takes care of the video billboards. Wild on Wheels covers the paneled truck fleet. And the new addition, Wild On Wings handles orders for their massive, full-coloured skymurals pulled by Bell Jet Ranger helicopters. Naturally the re-branding came with new logo marks for each of the divisions as well as new office space in uptown Toronto.

What does the future hold for this company bent on being the first to market?

“This June we’re launching our first Wild On Wings skymural for Bell Canada’s 125th anniversary. It’s great for Wild On Wings to get an endorsement like this from a visionary blue chip company. We’re proud to be a central part of a promotional strategy for such an important milestone.” says Christidis.
